Panacos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PANC), a biotechnology company dedicated to developing the next generation of antiviral therapeutic products, today announced that data from the Company's Phase 2b study of bevirimat, Panacos' lead HIV-1 Gag maturation inhibitor, was shown in an oral presentation at the Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) in Washington, DC.
